In 2011 I was working in Red Deer, AB and there was an old Stearman aircraft sitting there. It turns out it was a re-built aircraft belonging to “Vintage Wings of Canada”. They were taking it across the country and offering flights on it. I tried to get one in Red Deer, but things didn’t work out. They were going to Calgary in a day or two and I was able to get my flight there. It worked out better as I was able to fly over areas that I was familiar with and especially the cabin.
